April to June 2023, mentorship with Olivia Shaffer focusing on Contact Improvisation.
In this project, Olivia and I worked together and with other members of the EDAM Company to explore elements of contact improvisation as a dance form and its use in performance.
The project culminated with a special performance week working with Hayley Gawthrop, Antonio Somera and Arash Khakpour for a studio showing of new scores by Olivia Shaffer on Friday, June 16 at the Western Front.
This project is hosted by EDAM dance.
